Prints – Milan Fashion Week Spring 2012

If the collections on the Milan runways have only one thing to say, it’s that Spring 2012 will be a season of color and excitement! Just look at the collection of prints we gathered for you below! We’ve seen watercolor florals, animal prints, geometrics,  photographic prints and more, but all seem to veer towards lively colorways.  We’re excited to see if this colorful trend carries over to the runways of Paris!

Prints – NY Fashion Week Spring 2012

Trend – Spring 2012 Colors

Fashion Week has begun and we’re pumped to see all the color on the runway! Check out the color trends we’re seeing for Spring.  We took this palette over to our library and started searching for prints that we can use for Spring!

Did you know that once you find a color you like, you can lock that color and do a search to find other prints that have that same color? It’s a useful tip if you’ve got a certain palette in mind, and need to see complimentary prints!

We were inspired by their mixed prints of conversational butterflies, nautical stripes, and the every popular this past season, bold oversized florals!

Trend – Smarty Pants

It may be Summer break for some, but the rest of us still want to look snazzy in the office!  We’re loving the looks below; pairing these fun prints with neutral solids helps to keep a nice balance.  Be sure your fall line-up is sprinkled with prints that show your design aesthetic so that your consumers can recognize your brand by a quick glance!

Color – Neutrals and Neons

Have you noticed the Neutral/Neon trend popping up everywhere? We sure have and we love it! Keep the bright electric colors grounded by simply adding calm neutrals to balance things out. Check out the inspiration board we created using the EzTextiles library and then start creating one of your own! Notice how we enlarged some of the prints to make them more of a placement print. Don’t feel limited to the default sizes; remember you can easily scale our prints up or down to the size you want, for maximum customization!

Prints – Tutti Frutti

Its all about fruits!

A major trend for Spring/Summer 2011 is a strong focus on all kinds of fruits, from apples to lemons even cherries! This kitschy conversational has made quite a buzz amongst editors, stylists and bloggers whom have expressed a liking to the trend. Find fruits in magazine shoots, trend boards- even American Vogues’ Anna Wintour was spotted wearing an all too familiar banana print!
