Streetlook – Hyper Houndstooth

Strolling the streets of Tribeca, we spotted this lovely lady wearing such an outstanding coat! Check out her over-sized houndstooth print! Right on trend, we love the use of red instead of the everyday black and white and of course we had to head to our library to see what we could come up with!

Getting huge print proportions is a snap on Eztextiles, because you can quickly zoom a print repeat in and out to make it just the right size! Visualizing just got a whole lot easier! Click the image below to check out our collection based off her delightful outerwear.

On The Street – Urban Jungle

Even though Back To School is being focussed on….The summer and oversized floral prints are still a hot trend!

We spotted this lovely lady on the upper east side of Manhattan wearing this amazing vintage floral frock and loved how the flowers extend down with a vine pattern…like in a jungle.

We were so inspired by this vintage print that we started searching in our Vintage library and found lots of oversized floral  patterns and vines to design with..check them out here and see how they look on some dress bodies from our product library!

On The Street – Abstractly Fabulous

Nothing screams summer like summer dresses in groovy prints! We love the color story going on in this abstract print we spotted so we headed to our print library to make a collection!

Good thing EzTextiles allows users to lock colors that you like and search for prints which contain those specific colors.  It made making our collection a breeze! In under 10 minutes we were able to collect 2 full pages of designs!  See how quickly you can wow your design team with dozens of ideas by clicking the inspiration pic below!

Wovens – Plaid and Stripe Play

We came across this great shot from the Sartorialist and we were instantly inspired by the experimental use of mixing a large neutral balanced plaid, against a bias striped tie!

We love that this look isn’t too over the top… It still has a classic appeal, but keeps the blazer style from looking too boring or traditional, especially with a little subtle color in the stripes!

Check out our inspired plaid & bias stripe combo board to download them.

On the Street – Mix those Prints

One of our correspondents was in Miami recently and spotted a great head-to-toe look on the beach!

Mixed prints have proven to be a trend to watch out for after a handful of designers showed eclectic collections of eye-catching pieces for the Spring season! Check out how this fashionista mixed a strong geo pattern on a casual top with a dainty neutral floral pattern on chic harem pants!
